Wow, the views were stunning, especially from our Junior Suite overlooking the estuary! We loved the pool area, the artistic sculptures throughout the hotel, and the good cream tea in the pantry. It was a luxury experience. I was blown away by the attention to detail, like the gin and tonic tray in our room. everything was well thought out to ensure guests felt pampered.
Felt like they were family, no complaints whatsoever.

Breathtaking views of the Exe Estuary, Elegant and artistic decor, In-house vineyard
The high pricing for food and drinks feels unjustifiable!!! Noise disturbances from nearby train tracks really disrupt relaxation, and I didn't appreciate the limited drink options for non-alcoholic choices. They could really up their game here!!!

Our stay was a delightful escape, especially relishing the creative art installations scattered around the grounds. The breakfast with wonderful views of the estuary was a highlight, complemented by the lovely atmosphere in the pool bar. We truly appreciated the thoughtful staff who ensured our stay was both enjoyable and relaxing. A minor downside was the noise from the gardeners during the day, which disrupted the otherwise serene ambiance.

The views from the property were stunning, truly a picturesque setting. Staff were attentive and accommodating, especially when catering to dietary needs and pets, adding a personal touch to the experience. a particular staff member's demeanor during our visit felt inconsistent with the high service standards expected at this establishment. Despite this, the beautiful sculptures around the ground added to the charm of the stay.

I stayed in a King Room for two nights. The underfloor heating in the bathroom felt luxurious and cozy. Loved the signature tasting menu. every bite was a delightful surprise. The staff were exceptionally attentive, making sure we felt welcomed. One afternoon, I enjoyed the champagne tea, which was beautifully presented. The atmosphere was calm, perfect for relaxation. The new pool was a highlight. I had a lovely swim even in the chilly weather. breakfast service was lacking. There weren't enough staff to manage the dining area, causing delays in food service. Cleanliness in common areas was inconsistent. I noticed some areas needed a little more attention. Such details can make a big difference in a five-star experience. All in all, I can't wait to return and see improvements. I felt so pampered, yet I hoped for better breakfast service during peak hours.
